I grew up surrounded by every kind of music: my grandfather's oldies, my grandmother's mariachi and boleros, my mom's freestyle and old school house, my father's salsa and bachata, my cousins' hip hop and rap, and even my neighbors' classic rock. Growing up in a Puerto Rican family, the music was always part of the party, and those family events are where I first fell in love with the DJ booth.
I was a shy kid, and whenever I was alone with music, I let loose. DJing lets me give a room that same freedom. It started with a beginner controller from my father as a graduation gift, then BBQs, birthdays, and school events. Along the way I found my passion: weddings. They are the main event of celebrations, and I want to be the one who makes yours unforgettable.
In my 10+ years behind the decks, I've played events of every kind, and a few moments stand out. I was flown to Puerto Rico to DJ a wedding, I hosted my own show on 90.3 FM WMSC Radio, and I created a mix for a bride's dance with her father that went viral, reaching over 10 million views.
A lot of weddings can feel the same. My job is to help you find what makes yours different, while still being you. I strive to keep your dance floor packed while bringing excellence to every formal moment. Something new. A new tone.
